BoiseRealEstateInfo.net offers some good resources for first time homebuyers when looking at investing in a home. There is local information, websites to visit, utilities, and much more. Yet it lacks the ability to search for homes. But that is okay, there are plenty of sites that do that yet who knows how many of them are kept updated. I think the best way to search for homes is by visiting one of the local brokers website and searching from there.
Another website I found that is evolving into a pretty neat resource is called AboutBoise.org. Not only does it show visitors the local newspapers but also citizen journalists who really have good insight and talent in the local area. You can view the latest Boise News and even take a quick look at the Boise Traffic.
Yet this site doesn’t have everything but I noticed it is growing.
Learn More About the Boise Valley
What began as a mining-supported community grew into a thriving agricultural community and over the years the valley has become home for several major corporations. Combined with government, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, and the high-tech industries the area has developed into a diverse and booming economy shifting from agriculture to business. The Boise valley workforce consists of more than 280,000 individuals while nearly 40% of that workforce is a degreed worker.
New Activity Guide
Boise Parks and Recreation have just come out with the Winter/Spring activity guide. I have found this publication to be of great value. It provides a great selection for youth, teens, and adults that are looking to take some form of continued education. Art, language, dance, photography, sports, etc. Boise residents get a discount. I have taken several classes through Boise Parks and Rec and have enjoyed them.

Falling Gas Prices
I know… what does gas have to do with real estate? Well not much but it sure is nice to see them falling back to around and even in some places under $3 per gallon. Lets hope it lasts!
